Company Profile Organizations are faced with increasing cyber threats - in 2020, ransomware alone grew 485%. Yet existing approaches to cyber risk management are static, fragmented and manual.We believe there is a better way to manage cyber risk, i.e. using a threat-based approach. This approach involves knowing how the attacker works and assessing the organization’s resiliency against that real-world data. Regulators in the region such as HKMA and CSA are also moving towards a threat-based approach to cyber risk assessment.We are building a threat-based cyber risk platform called Nexus. Nexus stitches together the 3 main concepts in cybersecurity - (1) Threats, (2) Vulnerabilities and (3) Risk, and puts them through Advanced Cyber Loss Models to to quantify an organization’s cyber risks in monetary terms based on real-world threat data.For insurers, Nexus enables accurate cyber insurance underwriting and risk modelling that adapts to the dynamic cyber threat landscape. For enterprises, Nexus enables them to prioritize the cyber defenses that move the needle the most while measuring the Return on Investment (ROI) of their cyber programme.We are Winners of the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore Innovation Call in the area of cyber risk management, and are also the first cyber startup in Asia to provide full-service cyber support for a Personal Cyber Insurance Product.
