Company Profile The GyroGlove TM is a wearable device that mechanically stabilises hand tremors. It contains finely conditioned, miniaturised gyroscopes.The counteracting force of mechanical gyroscopes is well established. We used this concept to design a near-commercially ready glove to support 200M tremor sufferers (figures to double by 2030) in carrying out their Daily Activities of Living.Tremor sufferers (Parkinson’s, Essential Tremor) are devastated from being unable to use their hands. Current therapies include drug therapy with side effects, and risky brain surgery. The GyroGlove provides a convenient and affordable solution that restores the patient’s independence on demand.GyroGear Ltd has been awarded funding from EU Horizon 2020 and Innovate UK, to clinically test and optimise our product to achieve up to 87% stabilisation. We have had volunteers to test our wearable for product development and patient preferences. Our technology is developed entirely in-house and certified for over 10M cycles. Since our inception in 2016, the GyroGlove has been refined by NASA, Harvard Medical School, MIT, Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College and movement disorder specialists worldwide.GyroGear Ltd was born in London, but we have a physical presence in Singapore.
