It has numerous benefits such as anti-inflammation, antioxidant, prevention of cancer, anti-tumour, promoting blood circulation, and so on, helping to improve our overall health. However, there are limit to the absorption of curcumin(Curcuma Longa) in its compound state due to the insoluble nature of turmeric, hence limiting its manifold therapeutic benefits. In its compound state, only 10% or less is absorbed into the body, while the rest is either broken down by the liver and intestinal enzymes or being rejected and excreted from the body as waste.
