Company Profile Make A Difference (MAD) Courses is the product of years working on-ground with local marginalized communities and social innovators who inspire positive change in these communities. Having worked closely with a diverse range of local partner communities to organize meaningful experiences for educational institutions around the world, our team has developed the expertise needed to bring these lessons to life online. Our big mission is to raise a new generation of global citizens who are empowered to make a difference in their own lives and in others.We create social impact by giving back to the communities and social enterprises that we partner with in the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and South Africa through a profit sharing model. Furthermore, we are able to impact university and high school students by teaching them about the world of social enterprises and sustainability, something that our education partners find is lacking is their current repertoire. We have already partnered with 18 schools/universities and inspired over 3400 students, generating revenue for more than 20 social enterprises and communities.Our interactive video programs are co-created with community partners. The content specifically meets the needs of a school’s curriculum, focusing on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the new directional focus for many schools and universities. Through activities, interactions and reflections, we bring entrepreneurship, social enterprise and sustainability to life in the classroom. MAD is able to create this innovative content at a low development cost thanks to its partnership with Wirewax, a global leader in interactive video technology.While most programs will, in the short term, cater to the B2B (school + university) markets, MAD wishes also to develop a B2C (direct to consumer) arm of its operations through online certificate courses, which have the potential to play a significant part in MAD’s revenue, lead generation and future direction.
