Company Profile WaveBoost is a startup from National University of Singapore incubated by NUS Graduate Research Innovation Programme (GRIP).With exponential growth on usage of Internet-of-Things (IOT) sensors, reliance on battery or power cord as the main power solutions is no longer sustainable, especially in the scale of billions. Realizing the drawbacks of the conventional power methods, WaveBoost has found a way to provide wireless power solution for IOT sensors to remove the need for frequent battery replacement and complex wiring infrastructure. The core technologies of WaveBoost are Radio-frequency (RF) energy harvesting from commercial telecommunication bands, such as 3G, 4G, and WiFi, and innovative power optimization for IOT sensors’ lifetime extension.
