Company Profile In 2012, we founded a nonprofit group which translates the law into plain language. The result: people can easily understand their legal rights and responsibilities. We used modern web and mobile tools to reach more people in a more efficient way. Seven years later, the project still helps millions of citizens. The nonprofit was awarded by the President of Bulgaria for its significant social impact and received many awards and positive PR from all the national media.In 2013, we realised information is not enough. People needed solutions to better navigate the legal world. We founded Advokatami.bg (Advomi.com) – a place where clients can book affordable and transparent legal services from vetted lawyers and firms on our network.All the services listed on Advomi are carefully vetted and with fixed fee price, clear time and terms of delivery. Customers can search and book from a curated list of services or they can submit a custom request (project) to receive proposals from legal professionals.In 2014, our first-tier founders, Stan and Mariela, were joined by Nikola and Tsvetan – the first team members who became second-tier founders, and they are still key players at Advomi today.In 2015, Stan and Mariela spent a year in Silicon Valley. They came back in 2016 to scale up the company. Today, Advomi is the market leader in numerous areas of legal services in Bulgaria. Advomi helped hundreds of lawyers and small firms to grow their business serving 10,000+ clients.Our company was proudly bootstrapped until late 2017 when Hristo Hristov backed us with a six-digit investment at €1М valuation. Hristo is the CEO of the major digital media company Netinfo, mentor at Endeavor and Founder Institute, chairman at IAB Bulgaria. Hristo was a great fit to our culture.Currently, we are expanding to Southeast Asia with a second headquarter in Singapore. Stan and Mariela moved to Singapore to lead our SEA expansion. Initially, we are launching our platform for clients and lawyers. Then follows implementation of our AI solutions that make various processes in legal services more efficient and less costly. Thus, both clients and lawyers could have a much better experience.At Advomi, we will continue with our mission to make legal more accessible, simple and affordable.
