Company Profile Auristone is an Asian-based epigenomic profiling company with data analytics capabilities that spun out from Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS) in 2021 with the vision of being the largest curator of Asian Epigenomic database. We leverage on our best-in-class know how, proprietary processes, and asian focused epigenomic database to drive epigenomic discoveries. The company’s Scientific co-Founders are Professor Patrick Tan and Professor Teh Bin Tean, who are both internationally recognized world-experts in the field of epigenomics and Gastric Cancer (GC), and in the field of genomic, translational research and drug discovery respectively.Our lead product EPI-Call™ is a 2nd gen NGS test that provides epigenomic information, in addition to genomic information, around tumor cell micro-environment. EPI-Call™ further provides indication of patient response to immunotherapy, a predictive test based on our proprietary Alternate Promoter Burden (APB) platform, which is developed and validated using over five hundred (500) patient samples. Current existing FDA approved predictive markers e.g., Tumour Mutational Burden (TMB), Microsatellite Instability (MSI), Programmed cell Death Ligand-1(PD-L1) only stratify <5% of patients to mono-immunotherapy. Based on studies, this implies that 20–25% of responders are not identified. EPI-Call™ was developed to fulfil this clinical gap.We actively seek engagement with partners to validate EPI-Call™ for GC, to expand the use of the APB platform to other types of cancers to establish clinical use, and to use our epigenomic database for further novel drug and biomarker discoveries. With improved precision oncology through EPI-Call™, which layers epigenomic information on top of genomic data, we are one step closer to providing bespoke therapy, reducing side-effects, lower costs and better quality of life for our patients.
