Company Profile My name is Alvin. I am interested to present my company and explore the possibility to get investors for my start-up, iTakeJob. This venture was conceptualised by me before I pitched the idea to several MBA coursemates of mine back in 2018. We have since completed our MBA and four coursemates are now in this new-co with me that was incorporated in 2018. Being working professionals in our respective fields, we have self-funded this venture and finished Beta testing our Mobile Application with two verticals/modules (Food Delivery and F&B Employment) completed. We feel that we are now ready to introduce ourselves to the market.With my years of experience in the F&B sector, coupled with my Consultancy exposure, I am confident that this App is addressing a much-needed problem space in both the generic F&B gig job market and the food delivery arena where we have this ambition to disrupt the disruptors in the market. Our delivery App is nothing like those currently operating in this space but rather one that is more pro-enterprise. They are tasked with evaluating our business model as part of their MBA’s Consultancy graded assignment, where they work with an industry partner under the watchful eye of an Associate Professor. The team has viewed this venture as one with a clear competitive advantage due to the niche the business has carved for itself coupled with the ability to use geolocation to shorten the lead time in locating potential service providers. iTakeJob's job App also cuts down the need for employers to screen the employees, minimises distraction for employees looking for specific jobs in F&B and overall saves time.
