Timor-Leste Innovation Hub (TLIH) is a locally rooted business and innovation support organisation dedicated to strengthening Timor-Leste’s private sector and building a more dynamic, inclusive, and investment-ready entrepreneurial ecosystem. TLIH works at the intersection of enterprise development, investment, and innovation, supporting startups, entrepreneurs, SMEs, investors, development partners, and institutions to connect, grow, and create meaningful economic opportunities in Timor-Leste. Through its three core pillars — Enterprise, Investment, and Innovation — TLIH provides practical business support, market access, investment readiness, ecosystem connections, capacity building, and innovation-focused programmes. We work closely with local and international partners to identify promising businesses, develop investable pipelines, facilitate partnerships, and connect Timorese enterprises with regional and global opportunities. As an in-country Business Support Organisation, TLIH brings local market knowledge, networks, and implementation capacity to projects that aim to strengthen entrepreneurship, private-sector development, green growth, digital innovation, and investment in Timor-Leste. Our vision is to see Timor-Leste become a stronger, more connected, and investment-ready entrepreneurial ecosystem, where local businesses have the opportunity, resources, and networks they need to grow and contribute to sustainable economic development.
