AIRmaker was established in 2016 as a joint venture amongst Ascendas Singbridge (now CapitaLand), Infocomm Investments (now SGInnovate) and Runyang Group to create a cross-border accelerator to support the innovation needs of Ascendas Singbridge customers in sourcing digital health and IoT start-ups. Ascendas Singbridge has since acquired SGInnovate's stake, and transformed AIRmaker into a co-innovation service company to operate the Smart Urban Co-Innovation Lab.
